About the Role
Leader Recruitment Group, a leading specialist in recruitment for children's residential care, is excited to partner with our client to recruit a qualified and passionate Social Worker for their expanding team in Stratford. This is an outstanding opportunity for a professional with a corporate or legal background and experience working with vulnerable children to join a dynamic organisation dedicated to supporting young people with complex needs. You'll work in a residential and supported accommodation setting, delivering innovative, high-quality interventions focused on recovery from adverse childhood experiences and effective risk management. Key Responsibilities

  • Champion safeguarding by upholding and enhancing the service's policies, ensuring compliance with statutory responsibilities.

  • Oversee and evaluate service delivery to maintain the high standards expected of a corporate parent.

  • Manage cases comprehensively, ensuring the delivery team meets all service requirements and outcomes.

  • Develop and maintain robust risk management and support plans, aligned with organisational policies.

  • Coordinate new referrals, prioritising immediate placement stability and effective transitions.

  • Maintain audit-ready case files with meticulous attention to detail and professional standards.

  • Collaborate with statutory bodies, attend key meetings, and advocate for a trauma-informed, psychologically supportive environment.

  • Build trusting, professional relationships with young people and stakeholders to achieve the best outcomes.

What We're Looking For

  • Essential: Degree in Social Work or equivalent, with active or pending Social Work registration.

  • Essential: Experience working with vulnerable children in a corporate setting or with a corporate/legal background, demonstrating high levels of professionalism.

  • Essential: Full enhanced DBS clearance.

  • Essential: Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

  • Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.

  • Keen attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in documentation and reports.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement and report writing.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold professional boundaries.

  • Genuine passion for improving the lives of children and young people, with a commitment to trauma-informed care.
