Workshop Controller - Main Dealer
Salary: £37,000 - £47,000 OTE
Location: Macclesfield
Full-Time | Permanent Position

Our client, a well-established and reputable main car dealership based in Macclesfield, is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Workshop Controller to join their aftersales team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong technical background and proven leadership skills to take the next step in their automotive career.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage the daily operations of the workshop, ensuring efficiency and productivity

* Allocate jobs to technicians based on skill and availability

* Liaise with service advisors and other departments to ensure smooth workflow

* Monitor job progress and ensure quality control and timely completion

* Lead, support, and motivate the workshop team to achieve performance targets

* Maintain compliance with health & safety and manufacturer standards

Requirements:

* Previous experience as a Workshop Controller, Senior Technician, or similar role within a main dealership environment

* Strong technical knowledge of modern vehicle systems

* Excellent leadership and communication skills

* Highly organised with the ability to manage a busy and fast-paced workshop

* Full UK driving licence is essential
