Our client, a welcoming and high-achieving mainstream secondary school in Tamworth, is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Science Teacher to join their team on a part-time basis from January 2026.

The Role:

The successful candidate will deliver engaging and well-structured Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will inspire students through practical learning, strong subject knowledge, and a passion for scientific enquiry. Key Responsibilities:

Teach Science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics specialism welcomed) to KS3-KS4

Plan, deliver, and assess lessons in line with curriculum guidelines

Support student progress through effective feedback

*

Maintain strong classroom management and a positive learning environment

*

Contribute to departmental planning and school-wide initiatives

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

*

Experience teaching Science at secondary level

*

Strong understanding of the national curriculum

Excellent communication and organisational skills

*

Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
