DC Personnel are recruiting for an Assembly operative for our client a specialist manufacturer in the Desford area of Leicestershire.

Hours: 7:30- 4:30 Monday to Thursday & 7:30-12:30 Friday. 39 hours per week

Pay: £27,378 salary £13.50 per hour

Full time Permanent role

Responsible for assembling Aluminium frameworks and profile-based structures according to specifications and drawings. This hands-on role is key to ensuring our products are built to the highest standard and delivered on time to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble aluminium profile frameworks and structures from technical drawings and work instructions
• Measure, cut, drill and connect aluminium components using hand and power tools
• Perform quality checks to ensure all assembled products meet company standards
• Package and prepare finished products for dispatch
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Assist with general warehouse and production duties as required
• Collaborate with other team members to meet production targets and deadlines

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar assembly or production role (preferably working with aluminium or metal products)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work orders
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Good manual dexterity and physical fitness for repetitive tasks and standing for long periods
• Team player with good communication skills
• Punctual and reliable
