We are delighted to be exclusively retained by this global business to recruit a Deputy Company Secretary into its legal team.
Reporting into the General Counsel and Company Secretary, and with the help of a Company Secretarial Assistant, you will have responsibility for the full range of company secretarial tasks, including attending regular board meetings and committees for the business and its subsidiaries.
Practical experience is absolutely key to this role as you will take the lead on the company secretarial tasks required by the business. Being able to take thorough board minutes is vital.
We are keen to speak to individuals who are currently or have recently worked in a similar capacity - perhaps as an Assistant Company Secretary - but are looking for a step up. Experience of working for a PLC would be preferred. It would be advantageous if you had previously used Blueprint, although this is not critical.
When the business’ bright and comfortable offices are able to be fully open again, you will be sitting with the in-house Legal team. In advance of that, the role will need to be performed remotely.
This is a part-time role, although the precise working pattern is something that the business is happy to explore with candidates.
You will be working in a very dynamic environment and will have access to senior stakeholders across the business.
This is an outstanding opportunity to take more responsibility but with the advantage of having assistance and a Company Secretary to report into.
