The School and Role

This large, mixed Roman Catholic secondary school and sixth form located in Aintree, Sefton, are looking to appoint an outgoing and dedicated Physical Education Teacher to teach KS3 - KS4 levels and work as part of an established team.  This is a full-time role, starting in September 2025 and is ongoing, with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate.  The successful candidate must have experience of teaching Physical Education up to KS4.  This voluntary aided school gained specialist Sports College status in 2000, and is administered by Liverpool City Council and the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Liverpool.  The school was marked as 'Good' in all areas following their latest Ofsted inspection.

Requirements

The desired Teacher will have;

-          Experience of working with KS3 and KS4 levels

-          Hold QTS in the UK

-          Confidence in teaching the current curriculum

-          Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
