Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with ASD, adapting approaches based on individual EHCPs or learning profiles.

Implement and monitor behaviour and communication strategies, including visual timetables, social stories, and sensory interventions.

Assist in the planning and delivery of differentiated lessons under the guidance of the class teacher.

Foster a safe, calm, and structured learning environment conducive to the needs of neurodiverse learners.

Support pupils during transitions, break times, and off-site educational activities when required.

Work collaboratively with teaching staff, parents/carers, therapists, and external agencies to promote consistency and progress.

Record observations and contribute to review meetings and reports as part of the pupil's ongoing assessment.
