Location: Reading

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking an experienced and confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a successful primary school in Reading.

This is a fantastic long-term opportunity for someone who is ready to take on additional responsibility, deliver high-quality learning support and contribute to a thriving school community.

A HLTA Qualification or experience in a similar role would be beneficial for this role.

We also welcome applications from aspiring Primary Teachers with degrees.

The Role:

* Lead whole-class lessons in the teacher's absence* Provide targeted small-group and 1:1 interventions across core subjects* Support the planning and delivery of engaging, inclusive learning* Work closely with teachers to raise attainment and progress* Contribute to classroom management, assessment and behaviour support* Play an active role in the wider school environment and pastoral care

Requirements:

* HLTA qualification or proven HLTA-level experience* Strong classroom management and confident lesson delivery* Experience supporting pupils across primary year groups* Excellent communication, organisation and initiative* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
