Interim Senior Finance Business Partner - 4 Month Contract - 4 Day working week - £400-£450 Per Day Inside IR35

Cedar Recruitment are currently supporting a leading charitable organisation in London with the recruitment of a Senior Finance Business Partner.

The role is working on an interim basis for 4 months and will be a 4 day working week. The rolewill involve going into the office 3 days per week.

The successful person will play a pivotal role in business partnering in a complex enviroment, offering financial insight and forward thinking financial analysis to Directors and Heads of Department.

Main Duties:

  • Build trusted relationships with senior leaders and budget holders
  • Lead on budgeting, forecasting and financial planning across
  • Provide adhoc financial training and guidance to the wider teams
  • Lead month-end, year-end, forecasting and budgeting cycles
  • Ensure that budget variances and risks are highlighted
  • Oversee grant reporting and ensure compliance with funding requirements
  • Support tax credit claims for the organisations activities
  • Improve payroll forecasting and reporting capability
  • Develop an evidence based understanding of performance drivers
  • Support resource allocation modelling across the organisation
  • Deliver analysis to support commercial decision-making
  • Translate complex financial data into compelling, accessible business insight
  • Line manage a Finance Business Partner
  • Deputise for the Head of FP&A when required
  • Champion collaboration across the Finance department

Essential Requirements:

  • Possess a relevant qualification such as ACA/ACCA/CIMA
  • Have experience in working for complex charitable clients
  • Extensive experience in finance business partnering across complex directorates
  • Experience of staff management
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels
