About the Role:
Human Engineering is working with a leading heavy machinery repair company to recruit an Assistant Field Service Controller for their busy depot in Avonmouth.

The company specialises in servicing and repairing earthmoving, crushing, screening, and recycling equipment, and is known for its high standard of engineering excellence. In this key support role, you will work closely with the field engineering team and liaise directly with customers to ensure smooth operations and prompt service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Schedule and coordinate field service visits

*

Act as a first point of contact for customer enquiries

*

Support engineers with job allocation, updates and logistics

*

Track job progress, order parts and maintain accurate records

*

Provide excellent customer service and clear communication throughout the service process

Ideal Candidate:

*

Previous experience in a service controller, planner or coordinator role

*

Background in construction plant, heavy machinery or engineering support is a plus

*

Strong organisational and multitasking abilities

*

Confident communicator, both with customers and technical teams

*

Proficient with IT systems and service tracking software
