Shift Engineer
We are currently seeking a skilled Shift Engineer to join a dedicated facilities team within a healthcare environment. This is a key role involving the maintenance, repair, and installation of a wide range of engineering systems, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and building services.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out repairs, installation work, and planned maintenance across multiple disciplines.
Diagnose and repair faults in complex engineering plant, equipment, and systems.
Continuously develop knowledge and skills relevant to all Building and Engineering systems across Trust sites.
Carry appropriate communications equipment (e.g., bleep, mobile phone, handheld radio) to ensure rapid response during both normal and emergency situations.
Ensure clear and concise shift handover briefings to maintain service continuity and inform the incoming team of current engineering status.
