About the Role:

Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils with a range of SEN needs (e.g., ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, social and emotional needs)

Assist with the delivery of tailored learning activities

Support pupils' emotional wellbeing and help them access the curriculum

*

Work closely with class teachers, SENCO, and other support staff

*

Help implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour strategies

*

Encourage positive relationships and promote independence

The Ideal Candidate:

*

Previous experience working with children with SEN (in a school, care, or youth setting)

*

A calm, empathetic, and flexible approach

*

Strong communication and teamwork skills

*

Understanding of safeguarding practices

*

Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, CACHE) are desirable but not essential
