Michael Page are partnering with a not for profit organisation who are looking for a Management Accountant to join their accountancy team on a full time permanent basis.

Our client is a not for profit organisation based in Portsmouth. They do require travel to their offices but also offer a hybrid model of working.

Description

As the Management Accountant, you will be responsible for:

Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary.

Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and forecasting.

Analyse financial performance and contribute to strategic planning and decision-making.

Support budgeting processes, ensuring timely and accurate preparation and review.

Provide cost analysis and monitor departmental spending against budget.

Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with external auditors.

Maintain the integrity of financial systems and ensure proper internal controls.

Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial records.

Collaborate with other departments to improve financial awareness and accountability.

Produce ad-hoc financial reports and analysis for senior management as required.
