Maintenance Engineer Vacancy

£40,000 | 3 Shift Rotation | Monday-Friday | No Weekends!

We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business. This is a full-time, on-site position working within a busy production environment.

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
• Responding to breakdowns and conducting reactive maintenance
• Troubleshooting and resolving electrical and mechanical faults
• Maintaining and repairing production machinery and equipment
• Ensuring electrical systems are safe, compliant, and fully operational
• Supporting continuous improvement of maintenance processes
• Working collaboratively with production and engineering teams

The successful Maintenance Engineer will play a key role in ensuring maximum uptime and reliability across site.

What type of Maintenance Engineer we're looking for

• Multi-skilled background
• Strong experience in equipment maintenance and repair
• Ability to carry out preventative maintenance effectively
• Electrical maintenance experience including fault-finding and installation
• 17th/18th Edition (desirable)
• Knowledge of health & safety standards
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
• Previous experience within metal finishing or plating would be advantageous
