Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for a Health and Safety Manager on a 6 month rolling contract, based UK Wide.

To ensure the safe delivery of substation projects by implementing and maintaining robust health and safety standards across all project phases.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific Health & Safety (H&S) plans.

* Conduct regular site audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company procedures and legal requirements.

* Lead incident reporting, investigation, and corrective action processes.

* Promote a proactive safety culture across project teams and contractors.

* Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety legislation and industry standards.

* Provide H&S guidance and support to project managers and site teams.

* Monitor subcontractor H&S performance and ensure adherence to agreed standards.

Requirements

* NEBOSH Construction Certificate (essential).

* Proven experience in a Health & Safety role within substations, power, utilities, or major infrastructure projects.

* Strong knowledge of UK H&S legislation and CDM regulations.

* Experience conducting audits, risk assessments, and method statement reviews.

* Excellent communication and leadership skills.

* Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
