Do you have outstanding organisational skills, a keen eye for detail and a passion for providing a great customer experience? We're currently on the lookout for a new member to join our the VAT Department.

Our VAT Support team are responsible for driving customer retention and upselling Group products and services, and a position has become available for someone to join the team

About the RoleIn this role, your duties would include:

Checking Handovers from Sales to make sure all information is correct and clients are put on correct VAT scheme.
Following up with internal teams or clients directly to chase outstanding information to progress their application
Completing VAT applications via the HMRC website
Processing client's business expenses and adding them on to their VAT returns
Creating Weekly/Monthly report for management
Setting up Direct Debits to HMRC
General administration including maintaining digital customer records and managing in-house ticking system for the department.

Essential Skills

·        Background of working in a fast-paced environment, ideally within an office

·        Strong written and verbal communication skills.

·        Excellent organisation and time management skills, equally capable of working alone using own initiative or taking direction.

·        Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

·        Ability to comfortably prioritise tasks and cope with competing demands

·        Determination and motivation to achieve targets.

·        Resilient and pro-active with a flexible approach to work.

·        IT literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

·        Comfortable working with numbers in large volume
