Join Amplius as an Allocations Coordinator, where you’ll manage end-to-end lettings and support customers through key housing moves. You’ll work closely with colleagues, local authorities, and partners to deliver efficient services that help create safe, stable, and thriving communities.
Salary: £34,188 per year
Contract: Permanent, full time
Your week: 36.25 hours Monday – Friday 8.45am – 5pm
Location: Hybrid with a weekly presence in our Milton Keynes office
Snapshot of your role
- Manage the full lettings process, from marketing and advertising properties through to customer sign-up.
- Minimise void times by ensuring properties are allocated and re-let efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
- Oversee tenancy terminations, ensuring legal compliance and providing advice and support to customers.
- Ensure all allocations meet legal, regulatory, and organisational policy requirements, challenging unsuitable nominations where needed.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams, local authorities, and partner agencies to deliver smooth and timely allocations.
- Support relocation projects, including regeneration schemes and planned or emergency decants, ensuring moves are completed to agreed timelines.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records, report on lettings data, and provide responsive support to resolve customer queries, complaints, and additional needs.
What you’ll need to thrive in this role
- CIH Level 2 qualification (achieved, working towards, or willing to work towards).
- Good knowledge and practical experience of lettings, allocations, and relocations within a housing setting.
- Strong understanding of housing and tenancy law, including nomination agreements and compliance requirements.
- Up-to-date knowledge of the regulatory environment, with the ability to apply changes in practice.
- Experience of working with local authorities and external partners to deliver services.
- Ability to use housing management systems effectively and maintain accurate records.
- A collaborative approach, with the ability to work across teams to deliver consistent services.
- Resilience and adaptability, with the ability to stay focused and effective under pressure, including travel across the region as required.
DBS clearance is required for this role.
