Persons must have a minimum 3-5 years experience in ARCHITECTURAL drafting of commercial projects in Arizona.
Associates Degree in Computer Aided Drafting and Design preferred.
Persons must be proficient in AutoCAD 2016 or above, be proficient in the English language and possess strong communication skills (written and verbal). Revit/BIM proficiency a plus.
Other useful software experience includes: Word, Adobe Photoshop, Excel, ProjectMates, Master Spec., Sketch Up.
Ability to understand and interpret construction drawings and have a thorough knowledge of architectural detailing.
Ability to efficiently work in AutoCAD with multiple layer standards, multiple scales with annotative objects within the same drawing, and using sheet manager.
Assist in administering construction contracts during construction phase, to monitor and insure construction complies with the construction documents provided. Field experience in conducting on-site observation of work is a plus.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, punctual, works with minimal supervision; can handle multiple tasks and multiple deadlines throughout the course of the workday; can prioritize, coordinate well with supervisors and understands the value of client service.
The position will at times involve coordinating and communicating with clients, consultants, city plan reviewers, inspectors and contractors.
NOTE: Computer industry “architects” need not apply!
