Long Term Futures are looking for a passionate and skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming primary school in Kings Norton, Birmingham (B30). This is an exciting full-time opportunity to support Early Years and Key Stage 1, delivering interventions, covering classes, and helping to drive pupil progress in a supportive and inclusive environment.

The Role:

Plan and deliver small group interventions in Phonics, Early Maths, English, and Social & Emotional development.
Provide high-quality classroom support across EYFS and KS1.
Step in to cover classes where needed, maintaining consistent routines and behaviour expectations.
Monitor and track pupil progress, feeding back to class teachers and SLT.
Offer targeted support to SEN and vulnerable pupils, adapting your approach to suit a range of needs.
Contribute to wider school initiatives and enrichment activities, including leading clubs or focus groups.The Ideal Candidate:

Holds HLTA status or a relevant Level 3 qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or a degree in Education).
Confident and capable in delivering early literacy and numeracy support.
Experience supporting or leading structured interventions within Early Years and/or KS1.
Strong understanding of early child development and different learning needs.
Positive behaviour management strategies and a proactive, team-focused approach.
Excellent communication skills to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and pupils.About the School:
