Your key responsibilities: Strategic tax advisory work:
- Structuring corporate transactions including reconstructions, demergers, and share repurchases
- Managing full-scope tax due diligence projects across multiple tax heads
- Advising on employee share incentives and EMI schemes
- Preparing tax valuations and HMRC clearance applications
- Supporting EIS/SEIS advance assurance submissions
Client relationship management:
- Direct client communication throughout project life cycle
- Participating in new client pitches and business development
- Delivering bespoke tax advice from initial engagement through legal implementation
- Working with in-house solicitors to ensure optimal tax outcomes
Team leadership and development:
- Mentoring junior team members on technical and professional matters
- Reviewing work prepared by more junior staff before partner approval
- Supporting peers in their professional development
What we're looking for: Essential qualifications:
- ACA/ACCA and CTA/ATT qualified
- Extensive post-qualification experience in corporate tax advisory
- Strong technical knowledge across corporation tax, income tax, CGT, VAT, and stamp duties
Key skills and experience:
- Corporate tax structuring and transaction advisory experience
- Client-facing confidence with excellent communication skills
- Team management and mentoring capabilities
- Advanced Excel and Word proficiency
- Strong project management abilities with budget and deadline awareness
