An established and award-winning Nursing Home in Guildford is currently seeking enthusiastic and passionate Care Assistants to join their care team. The home is a warm and friendly environment designed to meet the needs of residents living with dementia to minimise anxiety and to enhance residents' quality of life.

Their CQC report is rated "GOOD" in all areas and the home is located in a quiet and pleasant area of town. All rooms are tastefully decorated and come with en-suites as standard

Being a Care Assistant doesn't just mean helping residents to remain as active and independent as possible while respecting their rights of choice, privacy and dignity. It means having fun and laughter with them and using your skills to help them deal with day-to-day difficulties like personal care and meal times. We are looking for individuals who have a passion and desire to care for others and who are able work alongside a team of other Carers and Nurses to promote dignity and independence for all residents within the Nursing Home. Key details

  • Full and part time, permanent roles are available (24, 36 or 48 hours per week)

  • Days and Nights

  • 12 hours shifts, 8-8

  • £10.00 per hour, paid breaks!

  • Excellent opportunities for further training and development including NVQs

Main duties for Care Assistants are as follows:

  • Support the Senior Carers and Nurses to provide high quality, person-centred care in the home

  • Keeping residents comfortable and assisting in manual handling

  • Checking and reporting any change in residents conditions to a Senior HCA

  • Liaise with visiting family and friends
