The Opportunity

A residential block management company is looking to appoint a Junior Property Manager to join an experienced team.

This is a great opportunity for someone early in their property management career who wants to develop within a specialist environment, working alongside experienced Property Managers on a portfolio of residential blocks.

The business has a strong focus on service quality rather than volume and is looking for someone who is motivated to learn and build a long-term career in block management.

The Role

Supporting the Property Management team with the day-to-day management of a residential leasehold portfolio, ensuring a high standard of service is delivered to clients, residents and directors.

You will assist with site inspections, service charge processes, contractor management and compliance, while developing the skills required to progress into a full Property Manager role.

Responsibilities
  • Assisting with the management of residential leasehold developments

  • Supporting preparation of service charge budgets and accounts

  • Carrying out site inspections with the Property Manager

  • Coordinating contractors and maintenance works

  • Assisting with Section 20 and major works projects

  • Monitoring arrears and liaising with accounts where required

  • Managing insurance claims and general enquiries

  • Maintaining accurate records using property management systems

  • Supporting client meetings and preparing documentation

The Person
  • Some experience in residential block / leasehold property management preferred

  • Could suit an Assistant PM, Coordinator or Administrator looking to progress

  • Strong organisation and IT skills

  • Good communication skills

  • Keen to learn and develop long-term in the sector

  • Positive attitude and reliable approach to work

Skills and Experience
  • Understanding of leasehold / block management

  • Exposure to service charges or maintenance coordination helpful

  • Good admin and systems skills

  • Able to work as part of a team
