Hours of work: 08:00 to 18:00 Monday - Friday, 47.5hours, 30 minutes unpaid lunch break, Alternate Saturdays required                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     Salary: £34,580.00 per annum plus overtime

Ideal Recruit are looking for Trailer Fitters to join our clients successful team at their fast-paced trailer refurbishment centre in Stockport. The role mainly involves HGV trailer stock at the trailer refurbishment centre in Bredbury. There is a variety of jobs to be carried out such as, MOT prep, servicing, inspection, and preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Carry out general servicing & inspections
Ensure repairs are carried out according to depot procedures
Complete job sheets as required
Complete preventative maintenance
MOT preparation
Adhere to all company Health and Safety standards
Requirements:

Time served HGV or HGV Trailer Technician, Mechanic or Fitter.
NVQ / City - Guilds 1,2 - 3 Certificates or equivalent qualifications
Experience within a Technical background /experience in HGV Trailer repairs
HGV 1 licence is preferable but not essential.
