Your Role as a Science Teacher

As an Experienced Science Teacher at our independent school, you will:

• Teach Science across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Key Stage 5 (A-Level), with a particular focus on preparing students for their A-Level examinations.
• Deliver dynamic, stimulating, and challenging lessons that cater to students of all abilities and encourage independent thinking.
• Lead practical experiments that deepen students' understanding and spark their curiosity for the subject.
• Collaborate with the Science department to maintain a cutting-edge curriculum and ensure consistent delivery of high-quality lessons.
• Contribute to extracurricular activities such as science clubs, trips, and competitions to further enrich students' learning experiences.
• Mentor and support students through the challenges of A-Level Science, helping them develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Who We're Looking For

We are looking for an experienced Science Teacher who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has a degree in Science or a related field.
• Has extensive experience teaching Science at KS5, with a strong record of preparing students for A-Level examinations.
• Is passionate about Science and dedicated to providing an excellent educational experience for all students.
• Can engage and inspire students to develop their knowledge and skills, fostering a deep understanding of Science.
• Has excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
• Is a collaborative team player who will contribute to the department's continued success.
