The Role: -
Lead and inspire the Maths department, setting high expectations for teaching, learning, and student progress

Deliver outstanding Maths lessons across key stages

Drive curriculum development and innovation within the subject area

Support and mentor colleagues to build a high-performing team

Use allocated leadership time (equivalent to 1 day per week) to effectively fulfil curriculum leadership responsibilities

Champion a supportive, inclusive approach that ensures every pupil can thrive

Contribute to whole-school leadership and strategic planning

Requirements: -
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Strong subject knowledge and experience teaching Maths at secondary level

Proven ability to raise standards and lead improvements

Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills
