Then this is the role for you! We have plenty of exciting opportunities coming up to work in Special Schools. The school is in Northwich for students aged 2 - 19. The students have Autism, ADHD, Asperger's, PDA / pathological demand avoidance, MLD / Moderate Learning Difficulties & Complex Needs. The post requires a caring and talented Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Teaching Assistant who is a dedicated to supporting children with additional needs. 

Due to the nature of the students attending the school the role will require someone who is confident, relational & pro-active!

You will need to feel confident within a classroom environment and be able to take direction from a class teacher.

The role is a long-term position looking to start mid-January!

The role will include:

• Assisting the teacher with classroom preparation
• Work with students who require additional support
• Leading group work
• Helping the class teacher with pupil observations
