Team-Teach Teaching Assistant / Team-Teach TA

A challenging Pupil Referral Unit / PRU in West Drayton is looking for a Team-Teach qualified Teaching Assistant to join their team. The school is for children with emotional, social and behavioural difficulties. The post requires an individual who is able to work as part of a team, support the class teacher and manage negative behaviour effectively through Team-Teach de-escalation techniques.

The position is on a supply basis with the potential for a long term contract. The Team-Teach Teaching Assistant / Team-Teach TA will be supportive and persistent and make a positive influence on the students' education.
The post will be working to support students who have been permanently excluded from mainstream education. You will be working on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
The suitable Team-Teach Teaching Assistant / Team-Teach TA must always be able to ensure students safety and act as a positive role model. You must be positive, enthusiastic and dedicated with exceptional behaviour management skills.
