Supply Teachers – Durham/Sunderland Secondary Schools

Day to day basis, £140 to £170 per day. Paid to scale for long-term/specialist roles.

Teaching Personnel is looking for supply teachers to work in secondary schools across Durham and Sunderland on a day to day or long term basis. We're looking to appoint enthusiastic and motivated supply teachers to work as cover/supply teachers in our schools. These positions are ideal for both ECTs and experienced teachers. We're looking for secondary school teachers from all subject areas.

We're keen to recruit teachers from the UK and overseas, so if you're looking for a new challenge, we offer excellent teaching opportunities in a wide range of schools covering Key Stages 3 to 5. We have fantastic relationships with a large range of state, faith schools, and academies.

Who we're looking for:

  • QTS qualified, ECTs and experienced teachers highly desirable
  • All subject areas are considered
  • Teachers who can offer a flexible commitment and be prepared to work in a variety of schools
  • Teachers looking for day to day work as well as long term/permanent positions

Both British trained secondary supply teachers and overseas trained secondary supply teachers will be considered for this position. All applicants should have UK QTS or an overseas formal secondary school teaching qualification.
