Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding new role? We are recruiting on behalf of a specialist school in the Wakefield area that supports students with a wide range of complex needs.

This well-established, highly supportive setting caters for children and young people with significant learning difficulties, including severe and complex needs, communication difficulties, physical disabilities, and additional medical or sensory requirements. Staff work collaboratively to create a safe, structured, and nurturing environment where every learner is supported to achieve their potential.
The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide individualised support to pupils with severe or complex learning needs
- Assist with communication strategies, behaviour regulation, and sensory support
- Work closely with teachers, therapists, and multi-disciplinary teams
- Support pupils with personal care needs where required
- Help ensure lessons are accessible, engaging, and tailored to each learner
