We are now seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Controller to join our client leadership team and play a key role in driving the company’s financial strategy and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the finance function, including financial planning, reporting, and analysis.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Produce accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.
• Partner with senior management to provide financial insight and support decision-making.
• Lead and develop the finance team, ensuring strong financial processes and controls.
• Liaise with external auditors, banks, and other financial institutions.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Financial Controller or in a senior finance role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and best practices.
• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA preferred).
• Experience within the food-service, wholesale, or distribution sector is highly desirable.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
