Housing Officer

Location: Landport Housing Service, PO1 4DT

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Duration: 5+ Months

Working Hours: Mon - Fri, 09:00 - 17:00, 37 Hours per week

Pay Rate: £ 18.12 per hour

Responsibilities

Manage and oversee housing services within the designated area.

Work closely with residents to address housing needs and issues.

Ensure compliance with housing regulations and policies.

Coordinate with various departments and agencies to facilitate housing solutions.

Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports related to housing activities.

Conduct regular inspections and assessments of housing properties.

Provide advice and guidance to residents regarding housing options and services.

Person Specification

Proven experience in a housing or property management role.

Strong understanding of housing regulations and compliance requirements.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Proficiency in using relevant IT systems and software.

Commitment to providing high-quality customer service.

Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
