An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician to join a leading FMCG manufacturing business based in the Blackpool area. This is a fantastic time to join the team, as the business is currently undergoing major cultural changes backed by significant investment—particularly in upcoming CAPEX projects over the next 12 to 18 months.

As a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician, you'll be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving a wide range of production machinery and systems. This is a key role in supporting production efficiency, reducing downtime, and enhancing the site's overall performance.

Key Responsibilities Include:

* Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across electrical and mechanical systems

* Supporting and executing improvement and CAPEX projects across site

* Diagnosing faults and implementing long-term fixes to prevent recurrence

* Working closely with production and engineering teams to deliver maintenance KPIs

* Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and food safety standards

Successful Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician will be:

* Time-served engineering apprenticeship or equivalent Level 3 qualification (electrical or mechanical)

* Strong multi-skilled maintenance experience (electrical & mechanical)

* Experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment

* Positive, proactive attitude with a desire to support a changing culture and continuous improvement
