Loan Administration Associate, Norwich - Permanent £23-25,000pa + excellent benefits

This is an excellent opportunity to work with an existing team within my clients Loan Administration department on a permanent basis.

The Loan Administration team is responsible for a wide range of administrative duties in respect of the Private Debt loans. This position plays a role of supporting the effective management of the existing portfolio and new business propositions.
The role holder will undertake the administration of loan servicing and banking transactions and tasks to ensure that they are all effectively managed and maintained, to deliver an exceptional service to clients. In addition, the team is responsible for aspects of Cash Management including Balance & Transaction reporting, Payment Creation/Approval/Release and Reconciliation.
The Loan Administration team provide an essential support function to the Asset Management team and therefore work closely together to deliver an exceptional service to clients.

Core Responsibilities:
To assist with the Loan Administration of Private Debt loans
Onboarding of newly closed loans into the Loan Administration System
Effectively administer, in line with agreed procedures, banking activities for both new and existing lending through system-based instructions ensuring these are processed accurately and timely.
Assist in the day-to-day management of a loan portfolio and working closely with the Asset Management team to ensure exceptional services is provided to clients
Maintenance of allocated loans in the Loan Administration System
Completion of daily cash reconciliation process for the loan portfolio
If required calculate and verify the amounts owed by borrowers on each relevant payment date
Providing the relevant loan details in response to loan confirmation audit requests
Assist in the setting up of mandate rights over client accounts along with setting up and maintaining online access for the Loans Administration team
Assist in the production of a monthly metrics pack for presentation to the management team

Skills and Competencies
Appropriate experience working in Private debt environment, ideally specialising in loan/asset servicing and/or banking
Analytical - Must be able to analyse reports containing financial data
IT, including Excel - Must be able to perform complex calculations
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to meet deadlines while achieving high levels of accuracy.

Professional Examinations required:
Business degree/relevant professional qualification (accountancy or banking) or relevant similar business experience

Other skills required:
Desirable but not essential to be able to speak another European language - Spanish, German or Greek
