Multi-Drop Driver (5.5-7.5t)

Employment Type: Temporary to Permanent (Initial placement through agency, with potential for permanent employment)

Role Overview:

Our client is currently seeking dependable and customer-focused category C Multi-Drop Drivers (5.5-7.5t) to support their transport operations in Dartford. This role involves the professional and timely delivery of customer orders across London and the South East. Candidates will initially work on a temporary basis via our agency, with the opportunity to transition to a permanent position based on performance.

Working Pattern:

• 5 shifts per week, including weekends
• Start times between 3:30am and 6:30am
• Vehicles are preloaded by our client’s night team for driver convenience

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects
• Ensure vehicle cleanliness and refuel as required
• Accurately unload deliveries at customer premises, following delivery documentation
• Complete collections from customers and suppliers when required
• Adhere to all road traffic laws and our client’s operating procedures

Candidate Requirements:

• Valid UK manual driving licence, CPC qualification, and TACHO card (Essential)
• Strong geographical knowledge of London, Greater London, and the South East
• Confident driving in urban and regional environments
• Excellent time management and communication skills
• Reliable, punctual, and capable of lifting loads up to 25kg
