We are currently looking for a facilities assistant to work on our profiles high profile client in Exeter being the onsite contact for facilities. This role will involve you being responsible for the day to day running of the facilities of the building ensuring they run smoothly.

The facilities assistant position is a full time position working Monday to Friday on a temp to perm contract working on an hourly rate.

Facilities Assistant

£12.52 - £13.52ph

Temp - Perm

Full time - 11am to 7pm Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:

Carry out sorting, delivering and franking of post as required

Provide assistance with office moves, furniture moves, event set up and set down as required

Ensuring appliances, fittings and general environment are in working order and all issues reported

Responsible for the cleaning and hygiene standards in operational and non operational areas

Deliver traffic control assistance in emergency situations, ensuring roads are clear and emergency response vehicles directed to correct location

Responsible for safe us of equipment including mechanical and electrical items following appropriate training as required

We are looking for candidates that ideally have the below:

COSHH trained

Working within the facilities team of commercial property

Sub contractor knowledge

Basic knowledge of hard and soft services

IT Literate - ideal to have experience using CAFM system

Excellent communication skills

Able to work in a team or unaided
