We are currently seeking dedicated and passionate teaching assistants to support individuals at schools across Rochdale. This will be supporting individuals with additional needs / behaviour management in the classroom, you may also be required to run small group interventions and top up support to ensure learners can reach their full potential

The successful applicant will:

• Have experience of working in a secondary school, ideally with SEND pupils.
• Have experience in dealing with challenging behaviour.
• Be motivated, positive and dynamic.
• Have excellent organisational skills.
• Successfully able to support learners on a one to one basis.

Responsibilities:

• Your role will consist of guiding and supporting a child with learning difficulties.
• As a one to one Teaching Assistant, you will ensure that all learning plans are followed and updated with the class teacher.
• Liaising with the class teacher, SENCo and parents/carer.
