SEMH Teaching Assistant (Class-Based) - Temp-to-Perm

Location: Blackpool, FY Area

Pay: £102.83 - £121.83 per day

Start: ASAP / April 2026

The Role: We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our specialist SEMH provision. You will work within a small, structured classroom setting, supporting the Class Teacher in delivering a tailored curriculum to students with social, emotional, and mental health needs. This is a "Temp-to-Perm" opportunity, allowing you to settle into the team before transitioning to a permanent contract.

Key Requirements:

• Experience supporting pupils with SEMH, ASD, or ADHD.

• Strong classroom management and the ability to differentiate work.

• A calm, unflappable nature and a passion for inclusive education.

• Direct Path to Permanent: These are not "supply" roles; they are long-term placements with a view to a permanent school contract.

• Trial Days: We offer a 1-2 day paid trial period to ensure the school and the team are the right fit for you.

• Specialist Environment: Work in a setting that priorities mental health and wellbeing over traditional rigid structures.
