Credit Controller & Biller

Our client is looking for a Credit Controller & Biller with proven experience in a comparable finance role to join a well-established, fast-paced and forward-thinking organisation.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented professional to join a dynamic finance team, supporting billing, credit control and wider finance operations while working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders.

The Role

This is a varied and hands-on position where you will play a key part in supporting core billing and credit control functions. Reporting into the Finance team, responsibilities will include:

Generating accurate invoices, reports and statements in line with client agreements

Chasing internal teams to approve bookings ready for billing

Following up with clients via phone, video call and email for outstanding invoices and payments

Building and maintaining strong client relationships

Identifying and resolving queries raised by clients or internal teams in a timely manner

Escalating overdue debt where necessary

Ensuring monthly collection targets are achieved

Providing ad hoc support to the wider finance team as required

This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative and fast-moving environment, with exposure across multiple teams and processes within the business.

The Ideal Candidate

Proven experience in a similar Credit Controller, Billing or finance support role

Strong numeracy skills and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook

Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively

Strong sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines

Organised and proactive approach with a problem-solving mindset

Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships across teams and with clients

Positive, enthusiastic attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
