Accounting Clerk

• Salary: Up to £25 - 27k depending on experience
• Location: Feltham
• Job Type: Full-time, Permanent full time office based Mon – Fri 9-5.30pm

We are seeking an Accounting Clerk to join our team, offering a vital role in our financial operations. This position is perfect for a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in finance and the ability to handle month-end deadlines.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Conduct credit control activities to ensure timely payments.
• Post purchase invoices accurately to maintain financial records.
• Post bank receipts and payments, ensuring all transactions are recorded.
• Perform bank reconciliations to maintain accurate account balances.
• Add costs to the jobs
• Assisting with month end duties as requested by Finance Manager
• Provide ad hoc reports and analysis to support management decisions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience in Finance.
• Preferable experience from the freight or logistics industry
• Proficient with MS Systems, including Excel (V Look-up & Pivot Tables).
• Experience with Sage Line 50 and BoxTop is an advantage but not required.
• Strong personality with the ability to handle month-end deadlines and work under pressure.
