Salary: £80–£95 per day (dependent on experience)

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and supportive school in Bristol. This is a long-term opportunity ideal for someone passionate about supporting children’s learning and development.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to provide high-quality classroom support, assist individual pupils with additional needs, and help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher in the delivery of engaging lessons
  • Work 1:1 or in small groups with pupils who require additional support
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and promote positive learning
  • Assist with preparation of learning materials and classroom displays
  • Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with children in an educational setting (school, tutoring, youth work, etc.)
  • A caring, patient, and adaptable approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine interest in education and supporting young learners
  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
