Butler Rose is exclusively recruiting a Financial Controller for a fantastic employer based in Exeter. This is a permanent role that offers hybrid working.

Reporting into the Finance Director, key duties will include:

• Day-to-day management of the finance team
• Production of monthly management accounts
• Cash flow management
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Statutory accounts and liaising with external auditors
• VAT returns
• Maintaining strong financial controls and always striving to make improvements
• Other ad hoc projects as required by the business

The successful candidate will be a formally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with good people management skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders.
