The role:

Teach engaging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

Deliver practical and theoretical content in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics

Full-time, long-term position from September 2025

Collaborate with a strong Science department

Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment

Requirements

The successful Science Teacher will have;

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) 

Strong subject knowledge in Science (Biology, Chemistry or Physics specialism welcome)

Previous experience teaching in UK secondary schools

Excellent classroom management and communication skills

Passionate about inspiring students and delivering engaging lessons

Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)

*All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
