I am working with a reputable, industry leading business based in Thirsk who are looking for an experienced and driven Assistant Management Accountant to join their thriving team.

Responsibilities will include:

• Preparing monthly management accounts to trial balance
• Conduct variance analysis of actuals vs budget
• Assist with balance sheet reconciliations and journal postings
• Support finance assistant and reviewing of bank reconciliations/ keeping cashbook posting up to date
• Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns including C79 reconciliations
• Help manage purchase ledger around month end including cashflow
• Input of payroll journals and analysis of data
• Aid with preparation of budgets/revenue forecast
• Credit card expenses
• Sales invoicing reconciliations
• Invoice discounting
• Trouble shooting/housekeeping
