Meraki Talent is delighted to be supporting a growing international recreation firm on their search for a qualified, part qualified or QBE accountant to join their team on a permanent basis.

The Company

The successful candidate will support the finance manager in the preparation of management and year end accounts as well as assisting across the finance team. Duties to include:

• Support the production of monthly management reports, including commentary and variance analysis
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Prepare journals at month end accruals, deferrals, and adjustments
• Maintain and monitor balances for trade receivables and payables, producing regular reports
• Manage supplier settlements, including scheduled payment runs and one-off payments
• Complete VAT submissions
• Assist with year-end audit
• Identify opportunities to improve financial controls, systems, and reporting processes, making recommendations where appropriate

What is on Offer:

• Up to £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience

Candidate Profile:

• Management accounts experience
• Qual, PQ or QBE considered
• Proficient Microsoft Office and accounts software SAGE/XERO or similar
