Fawkes and Reece are looking for a Pre-Construction Senior Planner to join our clients Northern home counties and London region, where they will provide an effective and professional planning and programming service for pre-contract and project teams.

The Role

Ensuring that the programme content is functionally compliant with the planning minimum expectations, procedures, and guidance
Identifying planning scope, major constraints, and contract requirements
Implement earned value into the project
Lead project monthly reviews with both client and internal senior management
Establishing and agreeing with Operations Team key methods of construction, sequencing, installation, and commissioning.
Reconciling company and sub-contract plant/labour and major materials elements in conjunction where appropriate Applying resource levelling techniques as necessary
The overall planning strategy and the timing & sequence of the Contract Programme activities
Produce client report in accordance with the project contract.The ideal candidate

Experienced in planning and project controls on medium to large scale projects
Able to work without supervision as an expert in project planning
Managed and trained a team of planners
Operational experience (ie site engineer/site agent)
An understanding of various NEC contract documents and specifications
Experience of P6 (advanced user) and Microsoft Project
