We're seeking a high-performing Business Development Manager to join our Corporate Services Department in a fully office-based role at our London branch. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to take ownership of business growth, client onboarding, and relationship management in a dynamic and supportive environment.
🔑 What You'll Be Doing
- Develop and grow a profitable portfolio of corporate banking clients.
- Onboard new customers, particularly for trade finance and treasury products.
- Deepen relationships with existing clients to maximise income potential.
- Represent the bank at industry events to raise brand visibility and attract new business.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders (credit, compliance, operations, audit, etc.) to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Maintain a robust pipeline and database of corporate relationships.
- Submit regular activity and performance reports to the department head.
- Monitor market trends and support new product launches.
🎯 What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in business development or sales leadership within UK Retail or Wholesale Banking.
- Proven ability to deliver results, exceed KPIs, and manage end-to-end client relationships.
- Strong understanding of UK banking regulations, AML, and TCF compliance.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Confident presenter and relationship builder at all levels.
- Strategic thinker with hands-on experience in UK banking products and client onboarding.
