We're recruiting Graduate Teaching Assistants to start September from the new academic year. This is a fantastic opportunity for enthusiastic and motivated graduates to work within primary and secondary schools across the region, supporting pupils and gaining invaluable classroom experience.

Whether you hold a degree in Education, Psychology, English, Maths, Science, Humanities, Languages, Sports, or any other subject-specific degree, we want to hear from you.

This role is particularly well-suited for those considering a future career in teaching. You'll gain practical, paid experience working alongside experienced teachers, supporting learning and development in the classroom, and getting a true insight into the life of a teacher. Many of our teaching assistants go on to begin teacher training the following year, using this experience as a springboard into a rewarding career in education.

What we're looking for:

A recent graduate (any subject)
A passion for working with children and young people
Excellent communication skills
A proactive, positive attitude

What the role entails:

Supporting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
Working one-to-one or in small groups with pupils who need additional support
Assisting with the planning and preparation of learning activities
Helping to create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
Supporting pupils with special educational needs (SEN), where required
Supervising pupils during breaktimes, lunchtimes, and on school trips
Providing feedback to teachers on pupil progress and behaviour
