Principal Town Planner (Interim)
Location: East London (Hybrid Working)
Rate: £41.64 - £50.00 per hour (Umbrella)

We are currently recruiting for an Interim Principal Planner for a London Local Authority with a strong track record of delivering complex, large-scale developments and the capability to sign off delegated reports.

Key Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years' experience in development management, with extensive experience handling complex and strategic developments.
Comprehensive understanding of the issues and developments affecting planning, regeneration, and local government in London.
Strong knowledge of central government and development plan policy issues from a development management/placemaking perspective.
In-depth understanding of planning legislation and a good grasp of related legislation, including local government law.
A sound level of political awareness and a good understanding of local government operations, particularly in the context of development management and placemaking
