Recruit4staff are representing a well-established agricultural supply and distribution business in their search for a HGV Driver Class 2 to work in Newtown

Job Details:

Pay: £36,700 - £42,000 per annum (Extra load bonus £10 per day)
Hours of Work: Standard 50 hours a week, typically starting between 5am-6am and finishing around 5pm-6pm
Duration: Permanent
Benefits: Standard pension scheme, 20 days holiday plus bank holidays rising by 1 additional day after 5 years' service, extra load bonus of £10 per day
Job Role: The HGV Driver Class 2 will be responsible for driving a Class 2 vehicle delivering agricultural products to farms, often travelling down narrow rural lanes. The HGV Driver Class 2 will ensure deliveries are carried out safely and efficiently while maintaining high standards of vehicle cleanliness and presentation. This role also includes cleaning and maintaining wagons, completing vehicle checks, and supporting the smooth running of daily deliveries.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

Previous experience working as an HGV Driver Class 2 or in a similar driving role
Valid Class 2 HGV licence
Ability to drive confidently on rural roads and narrow farm lanes
Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

Experience working as a Bulk Blower HGV Driver Class 2
Previous experience delivering to farms or agricultural environments
Additional Information

Early morning starts are required
Regular travel on rural roads and farm access routes
Opportunity to earn additional income through daily load bonuses
Commutable From: Newtown, Welshpool, Caerwes, Four Crosses
