Academics are seeking a caring and dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join one of our welcoming partner primary schools in Ashford, Kent. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about supporting younger learners during a key stage of their early education.

What you'll do as a Year 2 Teacher:

Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and age-appropriate lessons for Year 2 pupils
Create a warm, inclusive classroom environment where children feel safe, supported, and motivated
Prepare pupils for the transition into KS2 by strengthening core literacy and numeracy skills
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and support staff
Encourage curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning
Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and colleaguesWhat we're looking for in a Year 2 Teacher:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) / Early Careers Teachers (ECT) welcome
Experience teaching in KS1, ideally Year 2
Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills
A nurturing, patient, and proactive approach
